Sempre is the only winder for virtually any hand-wound watch. The Sempre Winder will keep your hand-wound mechanical watch, with accessible crown, fully wound when unworn. Orbita's patented design replicates the human action of finger winding a watch by rotating the winding crown, with a collet, by grasping the watches crown securely and rotating it. The four included collets, mechanical fingers, are made of acetal plastic to prevent scratching or marring your polished timepiece surfaces. The two removable Sempre Module winders, in black leather, are powered by a miniature servo-motor coupled to techno-polymer drive gear system. An ingenious microprocessor control senses the increasing resistance as the mainspring is being wound and automatically stops winding when the watch approaches the fully wound state. The collet is opened by pushing a spring-loaded plunger at the opposite send of the drive shaft. Releasing the plunger closes the collet, clasping it on the watch crown. The two black leather wrapped Sempre Modules are housed in an exquisite black leather-wrapped wooden case with lock.
